FOCUS Receives $25,000 Grant from The Black Philanthropy Giving Circle to Support IT Workforce Training Program
Baltimore, MD – We are delighted to share that Focus on Communities United for Success (FOCUS) has been honored with a $25,000 grant from The Black Philanthropy Giving Circle for 2023. This grant is a testament to our commitment to empowering underserved young adults in Baltimore through our IT Workforce training program.
With the support of this grant, FOCUS will continue to provide comprehensive training and resources to equip these individuals with the skills necessary to obtain their IT certification from CompTIA. As the foremost authority in performance-based IT examinations, CompTIA certification holds immense value in the job market, making our program a valuable pathway to employment for our students.
The generosity of The Black Philanthropy Giving Circle will enable us to enhance the quality and reach of our IT workforce training program. Through state-of-the-art training materials, experienced instructors, and hands-on learning opportunities, we will ensure that our students are well-prepared to meet the demands of the tech industry.
