Our SMS program
FOCUS on Communities United for Success (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an optional text messaging program to keep subscribers informed about community programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and organizational updates, as described when you sign up. These terms explain how the program works and how you can manage your participation.
Consent to receive messages
By providing your mobile number and separately opting in to our SMS program, you agree to receive recurring text messages from FOCUS on Communities United for Success about the message types described when you enroll. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Providing a phone number alone does not enroll you in SMS marketing. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of making a purchase or donation, receiving services, or participating in our programs.
Message frequency and costs
Message frequency varies based on the activities and updates covered by your subscription. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan and charges.
How to unsubscribe
Reply STOP to any message from our SMS program to unsubscribe. You may receive one final message confirming your request. After that, we will stop messages from this program unless you opt in again. You may also request removal by contacting (571) 426-2443. We will honor other clear requests to stop receiving texts. Unsubscribing from SMS does not prevent you from accessing our services or participating in our programs.

Privacy and mobile information
We use your mobile number, messaging preferences, consent records, and message interactions to operate the SMS program, respond to requests, and maintain opt-in and opt-out records. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in and consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose the information needed to operate the program to service providers that help deliver messages or provide support, subject to restrictions on their use of that information. Your mobile number and message delivery
You must be the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you enroll. Please unsubscribe or contact us if you change or give up that number. Message delivery depends on your wireless provider and network availability and may be delayed or unsuccessful. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Donation messages
If you opt in to fundraising messages, we may send donation requests, fundraising campaign updates, and links to contribute in support of our work. Donations are voluntary. Enrolling in SMS or receiving a text does not authorize a donation or a charge. Any donation requires a separate action by you and is subject to the terms shown when you donate. Please do not send payment card details or other sensitive financial information by text.
Changes to the program or these terms
We may update these terms or change or discontinue the SMS program. Updated terms will appear on this page with a revised effective date. We will give notice of material changes and obtain additional consent when required. Changes to these terms do not expand the scope of your messaging consent. You may unsubscribe at any time.
